Have you thought about why some folk become obsessive about something? How some people it is picking up certain items like stamps, coins, rocks or a certain sort of figurines. There are a great number of folks who spend a great amount of cash to visit the home games of their fave groups and to buy all of the paraphernalia that is available. Some folk will focus on one player of a team and others focus on the team. There are more folks that become obsessive about famous personalities like a singer, actor or band. They can collect albums and posters and spend cash going to concerts. I wasn’t stunned, because as a kid when any flick or TV program would be on she would drop anything that she was doing to watch it.
When she was 20 she had a tiny skull and crossbones tattooed on her shoulder blade. To this day, 30 4 ears later she hasn’t told our mum that she’s got the tattoo. When she was in high school, when most other girls were drawing hearts on they are notebooks, she was drawing skulls and crossbones. Now in this age of nil toleration of anything remotely violent in faculties she could have gotten kicked out for having the skulls and crossbones shown on her notebooks. For her birthday this year her man wished to have a shock party for her. Her birthday is on Yuletide Eve so she never truly gets any special attention for the day. Her man thought that it might be a massive surprise if it was done in the middle of Jan .
He would take her out for dinner and celebrate her birthday as common the day before Yuletide and then in Jan we’d surprise her with a party.
Naturally he needed to go with a pirate theme. We had a great cake made that featured the skull and crossbones.
I purchased the supplies and asked my sister-in-law, who is an excellent seamstress, to help me make a massive flag with the skull and crossbones on it. When it was finished we rolled it up onto a wooden dowel.
When my sister walked into the room we started singing the standard birthday song and we pulled a string which caused the big pirate’s flag to develop. Since her party the skull and crossbones fly high above their home. They are the sole people in the neighborhood with a pirates flag hanging on their flag pole.
